I work as a Research Assistant in the Vision and Learning Group, a research group at West Virginia University. We focus on new and fundamental problems and applications in computer vision and machine learning research and develop novel techniques for endowing machines with high-level visual processing capabilities, much like humans use their visual system for action.

I am a researcher with a background in Machine Learning and Computer Vision. I am passionate about investigating underlying principles behind learning and adaptability in biological systems to build Neuromimetic Artificial Systems. My professional goal is to bridge the gap between Neuroscience and Artificial Intelligence to assist with neurological disorders or, rather, enhance our cognitive abilities.
Beyond that, I enjoy cooking, hiking, camping, reading, writing poems and science fiction, and listening to podcasts related to the Advancement of Human Civilization.
About MeI am a Computer Science Master student with almost four years of experience in Machine Learning research in Computer Vision. My research focuses on developing efficient adaptive algorithms for real-world applications.
